Ellie the Elephant

A birthday gift for a beloved girlfriend, this art creation started as an idea and a phone call. The client wanted three things represented: a love of elephants and lilies and his girlfriend's name - Ellie. Mark created the pattern and selected a variety of hardwoods. The design was completed by Mark's work on the scroll saw, adding the name "Ellie." 

The Pomeranian Pup

Each year, Mark and his family would return to the same rental at a place called Lakeside. And, each year, a sweet Pomeranian pup would greet him. Many years later, we knew it would be this sweet dog's last summer. We said goodbye that summer, but a year later, Mark returned with this custom piece of art created in memory of this beloved pet.  The tears shed and the hug received were payment enough for this special piece of custom art. 

26 Diamonds

Every wedding anniversary, Andy and his wife celebrate with diamonds. Some years it may be a real diamond in a piece of jewelry, but this year - for their 26th wedding anniversary, Andy wanted to work to create a piece of art that he and his wife would enjoy a lifetime. The final piece includes 26 diamond shapes and the color of the hardwoods were selected to compliment the home that Andy and his wife created together. Happy Anniversary indeed!

Maine

A client living on the beautiful Belgrade Lakes wanted a piece that would capture the beauty of the outdoors. Working with Mark, she shared her vision of mountains, water, moon, trees and even a beloved canoe.  This piece of art now hangs in the client's home in Maine.
